Randy Arnayro and Charles Hartley met in December 2005 and were married on June 18, 2008 in San Luis Obispo. The ceremony, on the second day of legal same-sex nuptials in California, took place in the presence of three very close friends in front of the Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa.
At Noon on October 4, 2008, they joined family and friends at a reception at Crown Point North in San Diego's Mission Bay Park to celebrate that wonderful day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who attended and everyone who worked so hard to make this wonderful day come together.
Bryson Kim's wonderful photographs of the day have been posted at his website, BKimPhotography.
Eight disposable cameras were used by our guests to help record the event from their unique perspectives. Their images are here:
Responding to the many questions posed at the event, the dessert was Mille Feuille's Apricot Summer, a "coconut-pineapple and carrot sponge cake layered with orange-apricot cream cheese filling topped with a marbled glaze."
While Chuck and Randy are both very thankful for all the good wishes and support they've received, they'd very much like to continue being married past the November election and would appreciate everyone joining them in Vowing to Vote No on Proposition 8.
